Background Summary
In the beginning, Arthur started as a poor, under privileged child growing up in a world of despair. After he pulled the sword out of the stone, he was recognized as the true king of Britan and started his campaign to make the world a better place. King Arthur and His Knight of the Round Table was originally written by Roger Lancelyn Green, but was re-introduced as a Puffin Classic by David Almond.
